Jacqueline Fernandez, a Sri Lankan actor from Bahrain's Manama was raised in a multicultural family. Jacqueline's father Elroy Fernandez hails from Sri Lanka (Sinhalese - Catholic)and her mother Kim is a Malaysian. Her brothers are younger as well as an older sister. In the wake of turmoil in Lanka, her parents relocated to Bahrain in the early 1980s. As a teenager Padukone competed in a variety of National badminton competitions. However, she resigned from playing when she made the decision to be a professional fashion model. Padukone is born in Mangalorean heritage Her mother language is Konkani. Her lineage hails from Padukone village in Kundapura Taluk in the Udupi District in the state of Karnataka, India. Prakash Padukone's father is an international badminton champion who has retiring. Her mother is a traveling agent.
